What we do
Wholly independent, industry validated assurance
Our combination of Oil & Gas subject matter experts and software engineers have created high value software solutions to enable our clients in both delivering and assuring the projects of the future.
Within construction, we empower our clients through visualisation, advanced analytics, and the completions enablement process. This is underpinned by technical consultancy, engineering services, and governance. Across flange management, we deliver joint integrity software, combined with technical consultancy and authority. Through knowledge, understanding, consultation, and market-leading software solutions, we have developed a global reputation within the oil & gas industry.
How we do it
iQ Flange Management
We help our clients optimise bolted joint integrity management whilst reducing costs for both new builds and ageing assets. iQ – our fully independent joint integrity software – provides an integrated suite of software tools and databases. These enable the effective management of mechanical connections and compliment our specialist consultancy, training, governance, and technical support services. iQ is fully compliant to ASME PCC-1 and is independently validated.
Through high return completions enablement and model enrichment, our software creates the opportunity to improve safety outcomes, ensures quality is built-in, and reduces project schedules. Using mobile deployment, inclusive systems, and a connected footprint, we have broadened the technology community within our clients’ operations – expanding efficiency, productivity, and safety gains to previously unachievable levels.
2018 was an exceptional year for us. First, the financial year 2018/19 represents our most successful fiscal year to date, built upon both new clients and the retention and expansion of our existing base. Second, we laid the foundations for the year to come and beyond in terms of both technology and people.
Relied upon by the most respected names in oil & gas
Our iQ Flange Management system is currently being used by BHGE to provide independent flange management support on the Culzean project during hook-up in UK North Sea. The scope equates to around 20,000 joints, which have all been calculated to the Maersk standard Pro-160. This was written by our in-house specialists in line with industry best practice.
AmecFosterWheeler (latterly Worley Parsons) contracted us to provide flange management services on the Glen Lyon FPSO, from sail-away from Korea, through FPC in Norway, to hook-up & commissioning in UK North Sea. Our iQ Flange Management system was used to provide calculations and a record of documentation for over 40,000 flanges. In addition, we operated as the technical authority for the project. This included providing specialised technical support and training of personnel. Additionally, we provided full model enrichment to the project. QUAD204 successfully achieved first oil in May 2017.
We provide support for hundreds of Team technicians globally – as part of their operational process, all technicians review bolt-load calculations in the iQ Flange Management system before executing any flange tightening scopes. This allows them to make instant and safe engineering decisions in the field. In doing so, they are ensuring that all work is carried out to the latest industry best practice, in turn helping their clients to reduce the risk of product leakage and costly damage to components.
We are the world's foremost provider of flange management and completions enablement solutions to the global oil and gas market.
We are a technology company with innovation at our very core. The genesis of all our innovation is founded within the industry and our understanding of developing market needs. From flange management solutions and bolted joint integrity, to high return completions enablement and model enrichment, our mission critical software creates the opportunity to improve safety outcomes, ensures quality is built-in, and enables project schedules to be significantly reduced.
